We have three different guided tasting options to enjoy at the new cellar door. Each tasting experience takes approximately 1 hour, covering six wines.

Single Block Tasting | $40 per person |Book Now

Experience our Single Block wines, sourced from remarkable sites on our vineyard that are recognised for their unique varietal and site expression. With only a limited amount of Single Block wines produced each year, these blocks need great focus, careful attention to detail in the vineyard and ultimately a sensitive winemaking approach.

Be introduced to the organic single vineyard wines of Yangarra Estate by one of our knowledgeable team as you are expertly guided through our unique Rhône varietals including Roussanne, Rosé, Grenache, Shiraz and our proprietary blends: Blanc and Noir. Immerse yourself in this experience whilst taking in views of the individual blocks that go into the wines you are tasting, or overlook the French oak barrels and vats, ceramic eggs and amphora that the wines are fermented and matured in. 

Expressions of Grenache Tasting | $30 per person |Book Now

Grenache is our key-stone variety, as we own and farm nearly twenty four percent of the Mclaren Vale's Grenache vines 70 years and older. Discover the purity and diversity that our innovative winemaking brings to Grenache from our organic single vineyard estate. Taste a selection of Grenache Blanc and Grenache Noir wines whilst overlooking our feature ferment vessels or taking in stunning views of the vineyard from the balcony.

Do I need a booking?

We recommend you make a booking in advance for our wine experiences and tastings. Walk-ins will be catered for as space allows.

Group sizes

Tastings can be booked online for groups of up to 6. Large groups over 6 can be catered for but must pre-book by contacting us atsales@yangarra.comor 08 8383 7459.

Tastings

We offer paid tasting options to suit your mood and palate. See above for details on each. The tasting fee for your experience is not redeemable on purchase.

Tastings are conducted inside the cellar door and on the balcony weather permitting.

Our range is also available to purchase by the glass or bottle.

Do you serve food?

We have a selection of small plates - charcuterie, cheese and olives - that can be ordered to accompany tasting or wines by the glass and bottle. Check out thewine list and small plate menu.

We recommend making a lunch booking at one of McLaren Vale's many excellent restaurants for something more substantial. Some of our favorites includeThe Salopian InnandThe Currant Shed.

We don’t allow BYO drinks or food.

Weddings

Whilst we think that Yangarra’s Estate would be a beautiful setting for weddings, we are not a wedding ceremony or reception venue.

FAQ: Bringing Your Dog to the Yangarra Cellar Door

Can I bring my dog to the Yangarra Cellar Door?Yes! Dogs are welcome to join you at our cellar door, but there are a few important guidelines to ensure everyone has a great experience:

Where can my dog go at the cellar door?Dogs are welcome outside on the lawn and downstairs terrace. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dogs inside the cellar door building.

What are the requirements for bringing my dog?For the safety and comfort of all our guests, dogs must:

• Be kept on a lead at all times.
• Be cleaned up after by their owners. Please bring waste bags to help us maintain the beauty of our grounds.

Can I do a wine tasting with my dog?Wine tastings are conducted inside the cellar door and cannot be accommodated in the downstairs outdoor areas. However, you can enjoy wine by the glass or bottle with your dog in the downstairs outdoor spaces.

What amenities are available for dogs?Our outdoor area provides plenty of space for your dog to relax while you enjoy our wines. Please ensure your dog has water and shade as needed, especially during warmer weather.

Anything else I should know?We strive to create a welcoming environment for all guests, including those with dogs. Please be mindful of other visitors and ensure your dog is well-behaved and under control at all times.
